What colors work as accents for black and white tile bathroom?

I’m moving into a new apartment that unfortunately has a black and white tile wall. I really like ZEN bathrooms so this is not ideal. What is a nice color (other than red) that works well for bathroom accessories like shower curtain, rug and other accents? I was thinking smokey amethyst or plum?

If you like a Zen feeling, try using a soft aqua-tinged blue. It’s very calming and will give you a nice look with the black and white.
