What’s the best way to get rid of soap scum on bathroom tile?
My bathroom tile is a dark brown with black grout- it is such a great combination, but now looks awful because of the nasty soap scum that has accumulated. I’ve (unsuccessfully) tried spraying Lysol Bathroom cleaner on the tile, letting it sit for a few minutes, then scrubbing it with a scrub brush. Any other suggestions to remove it (that you know work)?

Forget about the commercial cleaners..Go to a swim shop or drug store & get small bottle of hydrochloric acid,just mix in plastic container,when you get home about 30%acid70%water..DONT use synthetic products with this cause they will just fall apart..Use old cotton shirt or similar,preferabley white so colour does’nt go every where..Wipe it all clean come up a treat it will,use plastic bristle brush to do grout line’s..Here’s the kicker keep a spray bottle of vinegar,handy & spray tiles every few showers keep EM looking great..When or if they look dull just use acid wash again..Could’nt be easier!!Happy cleaning!!(PS)All your pool tilers use this method to get rid of their mess,tiled pools look great dont they??
